What should I do before my waxing appointment ?

Let it grow! Most clients need at least 2 - 3 weeks of growth after shaving to get optimal results, However the hair does grow on 3 different cycles and time differs person by person. The perfect length is about the size of a grain of rice.

Don't worry if the hair is longer, we will trim it if need be. Don't trim at home while letting it grow as clients typically end up cutting some hair too short which then affects the wax service.

7 days before:

Discontinue use of any of the following products- Differn, Adapalene, Retin-A/Retinol, Glycolic Acid, AHA's, ProActive, Avita, Benzoyl peroxide, Salicylic Acid(BHA's).

6 months - Accutane

Avoid:

  • Getting a spray tan
  • Going in the sun/tanning booth
  • Abrasive scrubs

The day of your waxing, limit your caffeine intake since it can stimulate the nervous system causes a higher sensitivity.

Prior to your appointment please make sure your skin is clean and free of any lotions, creams, self- tanners, or makeup.

Post Waxing

What should I do after my wax appointment?

For 24 - 48 hours after:

- No hot baths or showers (lukewarm is fine).

-No saunas, pools, hot tubs, steam rooms.

-No tanning (sunbathing, sunbeds, or fake tans)

-No exercising.

-Avoid using any products with exfoliating ingredients.

- Limit use of makeup for facial services. Decreases the likelihood of breaking out.

After 48 hours:

-Begin exfoliating everyday with scrub of your choice. This will help reduce ingrown hairs. For face only exfoliate 1-2x per week.

-Limit use of heavy products that may clog your follicles.

Book your next appointment

Staying on a consistent 3-4 week schedule yields the best results over time. It becomes easier and easier to get waxed with each appointment. The hair structure changes and becomes thinner, softer, and decreases in quantity. Over time clients have noticed areas that don't grow hair all together.

Company Policies

​We do require a valid credit card for all online booking and new clients.

Your card will not be precharged for the service, it is only used in the event of a no show/no call situation.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

If you do not contact us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment we will charge the card on file

a no show fee of $25 or half of the service amount, whichever is greater.

We understand that life happens and sometimes you cannot give an advance notice,

so in the event you can't make it just reach out to us and we will work with you.
